The Role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to join the finance team and support the day-to-day running of financial operations. This position will involve a mix of transactional finance, reporting, and reconciliation work across weekly and monthly cycles.
Key Duties
- Process supplier invoices, manage purchase orders, and prepare payment runs
- Assist with reporting and provide general support to the wider finance team
- Monitor aged debt, following up on outstanding balances where required
- Accurately upload invoices and credit notes
- Produce and maintain rebate calculations, reporting, and invoicing
- Issue client statements and ensure account records remain accurate
- Review daily bank transactions, allocate receipts, and carry out regular reconciliations
- Allocate incoming payments and coordinate associated payments to agencies
- Support month-end close activities including accruals, prepayments, and reporting
- Generate high volumes of invoices for clients and partners on a monthly basis
About You
- Good understanding of core finance processes including purchase ledger, reconciliations, and cash allocation
- Familiarity with self-billing processes is beneficial
- Strong Excel skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
