Application Security Engineer

Summary:

Our client, a company in the Media space, is seeking a DevSecOps/Application Security Engineer for a contract position. The role requires software development experience alongside information security and expertise in security engineering, including networking and application security. The contract is for an initial duration of 6 months, with a requirement of 2 days per week onsite in London.

Key skills include familiarity with current information security standards such as the NIST Secure Software Development Framework and experience with DevSecOps best practices. The position offers a competitive daily rate.

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Software Development experience alongside information security
• Good experience in security engineering, including networking, software supply chain & application security
• Up to speed with current standards in the information security space: for example NIST Secure Software Development Framework, Supply chain Levels for Software Artifacts (SLSA).
• DevSecOps best practices experience

Contract Details:

Contract is running for 6 months initially, paying up to £600p/day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella) and will be 2 days per week onsite in London.
