Application Security Engineer
Summary: Our client, a company in the Media space, is seeking a DevSecOps/Application Security Engineer for a 6-month contract. The role requires software development experience and a strong background in security engineering, including networking and application security. Candidates should be familiar with current information security standards and DevSecOps best practices. The contract offers a competitive rate of up to £600 per day and requires the engineer to be onsite in London for 2 days per week.

Description: Our client are a company in the Media space, they are on the lookout for a DevSecOps/Application Security Engineer to come in on a contract basis.
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Software Development experience alongside information security
- Good experience in security engineering, including networking, software supply chain & application security
- Up to speed with current standards in the information security space: for example NIST Secure Software Development Framework, Supply chain Levels for Software Artifacts (SLSA).
- DevSecOps best practices experience
Contract: The contract is running for 6 months initially, paying up to £600p/day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella) and will be 2 days per week onsite in London.
