The Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for an Auditor / Audit Senior to join their professional team. The role offers exposure to a varied portfolio of clients and the chance to work closely with experienced managers and directors.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading audits from planning through to completion
  • Preparing audit files and supporting documentation
  • Reviewing financial statements and identifying risk
  • Liaising directly with clients
  • Assisting with statutory accounts preparation
  • Ensuring compliance with UK audit standards
  • Supporting junior team members
  • Working closely with managers and directors

What We're Looking For

  • Audit or accountancy practice experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage deadlines effectively
  • Good working knowledge of Excel

Desirable:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified
  • Experience with Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP and audit standards
