Salary: £58,899 per annum

Contract: Fixed-Term Contract - initial 12 months

Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week in London, with remote working

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Idox Acolaid/Idox Uniform) to play a pivotal role in a major cloud migration programme, supporting the transition from a Legacy case management system to a modern SaaS cloud platform. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a critical transformation project within a local government setting.

You will be Embedded in the programme team and work closely with stakeholders across planning, building control, and land charges functions - ensuring business requirements are accurately captured, processes are optimised, and the transition is delivered smoothly with minimal disruption to services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities for the system migration programme
• Engage with stakeholders across planning, building control, and land charges functions
• Elicit, document, and validate business and system requirements
• Analyse current ( as-is ) processes and design improved ( to-be ) workflows
• Support data migration activities, including data mapping and validation
• Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and project managers
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Ensure alignment with regulatory and local government requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on system migration or transformation projects
• Experience working in local government, planning, or regulatory environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong documentation skills, including BRDs, process maps, and user stories
• Experience with data migration, integration, and testing processes
• Familiarity with Agile and/or PRINCE2 delivery methodologies

Desirable

• Knowledge of Idox Acolaid, Idox Uniform, and/or Idox SaaS cloud platforms
• Experience with planning, land charges, or building control systems
• Knowledge of data governance and GDPR considerations
• Experience working with third-party software vendors and suppliers
