Construction Management and Civil Engineering Lecturer Job Type: Temporary (Until March 2026) Location: Hertfordshire Salary: 40 - 45 per hour We are seeking a Construction Management and Civil Engineering Lecturer to provide temporary cover starting ASAP until March 2026. This role involves teaching at both HNC and T Level stages, covering essential units in construction and civil engineering. The ideal candidate will be available every Thursday and Friday for teaching, with flexible preparation time during the week. Day-to-day of the role: Thursday (HNC & HTQ Construction and Civil Engineering units): Unit 19: Principles of Structural Design Unit 11: Financial Management and Business Practices in Construction Unit 1: Construction Design Project Friday (T Levels: Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction): Year 2: AutoCAD and Revit (3 hours) Year 1: Unit 10 (Construction Sustainability Principles), Unit 13 (Project Management), Unit 14 (Law in Construction) Total of 12 teaching hours per week (6 hours per day) and 6 hours of preparation time.
