Summary: The Marketing Data Protection Analyst will serve as the primary contact for GDPR and privacy issues within the Customer Marketing & Digital function. This role involves collaborating with various teams to support data protection processes across digital platforms and marketing activities. The position is a 4-month contract with the potential for conversion to a permanent role. The analyst will advise on compliance, manage assessments, and engage with stakeholders to ensure effective data protection practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on GDPR compliance for new and existing customer data projects
- Leading and managing DPIAs, DPAs, DSARs, and privacy risk assessments
- Supporting audits, compliance monitoring, and risk register reporting
- Reviewing contracts and privacy notices with Legal and Procurement
- Engaging with senior stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams
- Supporting digital initiatives including websites, apps, AI solutions, and personalisation programmes
Key Skills:
- CIPP/E certification (mandatory)
- 3+ years’ experience in Data Protection / GDPR roles
- Strong experience with DPIAs, DPAs, GDPR, and stakeholder engagement
- Confident communicator able to balance privacy risk and commercial needs
- Background in large, complex or highly regulated organisations preferred
