Nottingham University Samworth Academy has an exciting opportunity for a driven and strategic Deputy Head Teacher of Quality of Education. As Deputy Head Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the school, leading on curriculum, achievement, and the overall quality of education. You will join a dynamic and values-led leadership team committed to delivering transformational outcomes for our students.
Your Main Responsibilities Within This Role Will Be
Lead all aspects of quality of education at the school. Lead the PD SLT member who in turn is responsible for the following Provide leadership for whole school achievement. To provide strategy and analysis to improve the performance of disadvantage and PP pupils. Strategic lead of pupil premium and catch-up funding. Liaise with external agencies to support vulnerable students and those whose first language is not English. To organise and lead events including Achievement Evenings and Open Events. To improve the school for all stakeholders through the management and response to parent, student and staff voice. To lead staff wellbeing activity and actively engage with staff to ensure development and retention. Lead the PD SLT member who in turn is responsible for the following, careers program. To strategically lead the careers program at the school ensuring active links with industry and higher education to support curriculum and enrichment activity. Strategic lead of Parent communication ensuring that all communication is effective and has impact. Lead the student leadership in the school ensuring that students voice is effective and has impact across all school years.
