Scope of Work

• Supervise daily site activities for all electrical works across a large-scale BESS project, including LV/MV distribution, cabling, containment, switchgear installation, battery integration, earthing, transformers, and control systems. • Coordinate and oversee site operatives and subcontractors to ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and programme requirements. • Take ownership of QA/QC activities across electrical installations, ensuring works are completed in accordance with approved ITPs, quality documentation, inspection requirements, and project specifications. • Carry out and manage site inspections, quality walk-downs, punch listing, redline reviews, and non-conformance tracking, ensuring issues are identified and resolved proactively. • Support the preparation, review, and completion of quality documentation, including inspection records, test packs, handover dossiers, and as-built documentation. • Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards, site rules, RAMS, and permit-to-work systems. • Support the Site Manager and Project Manager with progress reporting, quality inspections, site coordination, and interface management with civils, mechanical, and commissioning teams. • Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inductions to maintain safe working practices and a strong safety culture on site. • Monitor site progress and workmanship to ensure electrical installations are completed to programme and required quality standards, minimising rework and defects. • Liaise with suppliers, delivery teams, and subcontractors to coordinate materials, plant, inspections, and equipment logistics on site. • Identify and escalate any risks, delays, design clashes, quality concerns, or non-conformances to the Site Manager and Project team. • Support commissioning, energisation, testing, and handover activities, ensuring all electrical works are completed, inspected, tested, and verified to the required standards.

Experience to be Considered

• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on utility-scale energy, power, industrial, or infrastructure projects — ideally with experience across BESS, substations, renewables, power generation, or grid infrastructure. • Strong QA/QC experience within electrical construction environments, including ITPs, inspections, quality assurance processes, test packs, handover documentation, snagging, and NCR management. • Strong understanding of electrical installation techniques including LV/MV systems, switchgear, transformers, cabling, containment, earthing, and control systems. • Previous experience working within live energy or HV environments would be highly advantageous. • Experience supervising multi-disciplinary site teams and subcontractors within fast-paced construction programmes. • Strong working knowledge of HSEQ procedures, permit-to-work systems, RAMS, safe systems of work, and quality management processes. • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to maintain a strong site presence and proactively drive works forward.
