Summary: The Financial Crime Analyst - AML role at NatWest involves supporting a large-scale remediation programme by conducting end-to-end AML and CDD casework. Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate AML and CDD remediation cases end to end.
- Review customer information and transactional activity to identify financial crime risk.
- Apply risk-based judgement and escalate concerns where appropriate.
- Pick up new or partially completed cases and progress them through to resolution.
- Work to defined KPIs and service level agreements while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Support quality assurance processes and respond to feedback where required.
- Contribute to the identification of process improvements within AML operations.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in AML or Financial Crime within a banking or financial services environment.
- Strong CDD / KYC remediation experience with end-to-end case ownership.
- Ability to identify, assess, and escalate financial crime risk.
- Experience working in a regulated operational environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work at pace.
- Confident communicator, able to work independently and as part of a team.
