Job Description: Infrastructure Consultant – Windows & Linux/Unix Hardening

Role Summary

Responsible for securing servers (primarily Linux/Unix, with some Windows) by applying hardening standards through manual configuration and script-based automation. Requires strong OS knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and a basic understanding of scripting.

Responsibilities

  • Apply predefined hardening configurations on Linux/Unix and Windows servers.
  • Log into servers and execute manual changes following MCS 2.0 hardening standards.( Minimum configuration setting advised by VF3)
  • Run existing PowerShell and Shell scripts for configuration tasks.
  • Document changes accurately and escalate issues promptly.
