Interim Legal Counsel – Energy Trading | 9–12 Month Maternity Cover
I'm currently partnering with a leading energy trading business seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join their team on a 9–12 month maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with strong experience in energy trading, commodities, gas and power markets to support a fast-paced commercial trading environment.
Key experience required:
- Negotiating and drafting EFET, ISDA, GTMA and other master trading agreements
- Experience supporting physical and financial energy trading activities
- Strong commercial and risk-management mindset
- Ability to advise stakeholders on complex legal and regulatory matters
- Previous experience as Legal Counsel, Attorney or similar
The successful candidate will work closely with traders, commercial teams and senior stakeholders, providing strategic legal support across gas, power, emissions and renewable products.
