Summary: The IT Support Engineer role involves providing 1st and 2nd line support for a Windows 11 upgrade project within a leading organization. The position is contract-based for an initial duration of two months, with the potential for extension, and requires hands-on technical skills in hardware upgrades. Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, delivering exceptional customer service
  • Log, diagnose, and resolve technical issues following ITIL processes
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Assist with laptop/desktop setup, configuration, and maintenance
  • Support IT projects, including system upgrades and hardware refreshes
  • Ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices

Key Skills:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in IT support (1st & 2nd Line Support)

A leading organisation is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented IT professional for an initial 2-month contract, with the possibility of extension depending on workload. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys hands-on technical challenges.

The focus: You will be supporting a Windows 11 upgrade project , which includes replacing memory and hard disks in laptops undergoing the upgrade. Prior experience with similar hardware tasks will be advantageous.
