Rate: £313 per day all inc. (PAYE through Umbrella)

*Job Summary*

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure applications using Java technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.

*Key Responsibilities*

- Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
- Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Ensure application security, performance, and scalability.
- Support and maintain production systems, including bug fixes and enhancements.

*Required Qualifications*

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Java Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 and above preferred).
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, or Hibernate.
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with RESTful services and API development.
- Familiarity with databases (eg, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Client).
- Understanding of version control systems (eg, Git).
