Summary: The Management Accountant role based in Bristol involves reviewing and allocating operational costs, preparing and posting journals, and assisting with balance sheet reconciliations. The position requires collaboration with finance teams for various reporting tasks and managing aged debtors and creditors. This is a hybrid role with a flexible working arrangement for the right candidate. The contract is initially for six months with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and allocation of operational and overhead costs to relevant cost centres using Oracle cost centre/project/function coding
- Preparing, reviewing and posting journals to Oracle
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with resolving AP and AR issues, manage aged debtors and creditors
- Assist with various reporting – including month end, project/overhead reporting/cashflow reporting
- Cashflow reporting
- Ad hoc support to finance teams
Key Skills:
- Part or newly qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- 3 years experience working in finance team
- Ideally experience working with Oracle or similar ERP system
