Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer role involves supporting complex manufacturing and industrial projects within a leading engineering company. Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and provide solutions such as tooling, equipment, specifications, and training for manufacturing to enable a stable production schedule.
  • Interface with business leadership, customers, and suppliers to ensure on-time execution of activities to meet business needs.
  • Design and implement production improvements within manufacturing to reduce costs and improve lead times.
  • Attend design reviews and identify production issues that require solving.
  • Support manufacturing to ensure adequate equipment and tooling are available as requested.
  • Provide innovative health and safety solutions.
  • Attend Lean events and process improvement events to improve the business.

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrated track record of delivery in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Engineering Qualification – HNC/ HND.
  • CAD proficient.
  • Good organizational skills capable of working under pressure to time constraints.
  • Experience in a production engineering environment.
