Summary: The Marketing Brand Associate role at a leading multi-national Pharma client in Basingstoke involves supporting brand strategies and marketing plans for the Diabetes and Obesity portfolio. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and the execution of brand initiatives while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This is an initial 12-month contract with a hybrid working arrangement of three days in the office and two days from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of brand strategies and marketing plans for Diabetes and Obesity portfolio.
- Support the launch and post-launch activities, including coordination of brand tactics and tracking of key milestones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (medical, sales, regulatory, corporate affairs, finance, market research) to ensure alignment and effective execution of brand initiatives.
- Help develop and deliver customer and operational plans in line with global and local brand strategies.
- Gather and analyse market insights, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform brand activities.
- Support the preparation of promotional materials and ensure all activities are compliant with ABPI Code of Practice, local SOPs and utilising Veeva PromoMats.
- Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and training sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of marketing tactics, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and thought leaders, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Support digital and omni-channel marketing initiatives, working with the engagement team to enhance customer experience.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and ethical guidelines in all activities.
Key Skills:
- Some experience (internship, placement, or entry-level role) in marketing, sales, or project coordination, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Knowledge or experience in Diabetes, Obesity, or related therapy areas would be advantageous.
- Experience supporting brand or marketing activities in a regulated environment.
