Key Responsibilities:
- Support Oracle RDBMS 11.2-23ai, including Oracle RAC, ASM, AFD, HANFS, and TAF.
- Manage RMAN Backup and recovery, OEM, and OCI’s Db Management.
- Perform patching and upgrades, ensuring high availability of mission-critical databases.
- Set up and configure Dataguard and utilize data migration tools like Datapump and Golden Gate.
- Work with Exadata and Base Database configuration in OCI.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
- Maintain security procedures, including network segregation and transport encryption.
- Conduct migration testing and implement secure authentication for GitLab runners.
- Manage and update repositories with Git.

As a Oracle DBA, your main responsibilities will be:
Essential:
- Oracle RDBMS 11.2-23ai experience of supporting Oracle RAC including ASM, AFD, HANFS, TAF. Additional experience of multitenant, TDE and TLS desirable.
- Specifically in a Linux/Aix OS environment
- RMAN Backup and recovery
- OEM, OCI’s Db Management
- Patching and Upgrade experience
- Track record of supporting highly available mission critical databases
- Dataguard setup and configuration
- Data migration tooling Datapump, Golden Gate, ZDM
- Exadata and Base Database configuration experience in OCI
- Oracle Database technologies (RAC, Dataguard, RMAN Backup and Recovery) and Public Cloud Technologies (particularly OCI and AWS)
- Writing Infrastructure as Code and debugging Terraform and Ansible
- Managing and maintaining Security procedures including:
- Implementing network segregation in a public cloud environment (preferably AWS)
- Incorporating transport encryption to protect data in transit (preferably Oracle)
- Understanding implementation of database encryption options (preferably Oracle)
- Conducting Migration Testing (preferably through Oracle and AWS) and implementing secure authentication with OIDC for GitLab runners
- Maintaining and updating repositories with Git
