Summary: We are looking for a contract Power Platform developer to join our team, focusing on delivering digital change through the development of business-specific applications using Microsoft's low code tools. The role involves engaging with internal users to understand their challenges, designing and delivering solutions, and providing ongoing support and training. The developer will also identify opportunities for process improvement through automation and innovation. This position requires both engineering and consulting skills throughout the project life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solve real-world business problems through the creative use of Microsoft Power Platform
- Engage directly with our internal business users to understand challenges, define requirements, and shape solutions
- Design, build, document, train and deliver end-to-end applications using the Power Platform toolset
- Act as a trusted advisor and consultant, guiding internal customers through best practice, adoption, and scale
- Provide post-delivery support, knowledge transfer, and capability uplift for end-users and internal teams
- Identify opportunities to streamline existing processes through automation and innovation
Key Skills:
- Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite; PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, Purview, Copilot
- Experience of building Power Automate Cloud & Desktop Flows
- Familiarity with SharePoint, JSON/XML, Microsoft 365, and third-party SaaS application integration
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and advise technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Creative thinker who enjoys solving complex problems with elegant, user-friendly solutions
- Proven track record of development within the Microsoft Power Platform Suite
- Lead in the production of training materials and documentation where required
- Ensure the system's design and development meet security requirements by adhering to the organisation's IT and Data governance policies
- Ability to partner with multiple stakeholders and influence systems design and development.
