Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own and manage all vacuum heat treatment processes, ensuring compliance with AMS 2750, Nadcap, and internal quality standards.
  • Lead process optimisation, improving cycle performance, yield, throughput, and repeatability.
  • Analyse furnace data, thermal cycles, and deviations to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and support daily operations.
  • Maintain and develop process documentation, SOPs, load maps, recipes, and pyrometry records.
  • Support audits, customer visits, and technical investigations relating to heat treatment performance.

What Were Looking For

  • Background in heat treatment, vacuum furnaces, brazing, or thermal processing
  • Understanding of materials/metallurgy or thermal cycles
  • Degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy (or similar)
  • Strong problem-solver who can analyse data and improve processes
