Summary: The Product Owner is responsible for overseeing CCTV security, compliance, and platform modernization across a large retail estate of over 600 stores. This role involves acting as the main liaison between various stakeholders to ensure that delivery outcomes prioritize risk reduction and regulatory compliance. The position is a 12-month contract that is outside IR35 and requires on-site presence three days a week at either London Paddington or Stockley Park.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own the product vision and measurable outcomes for CCTV governance, security hardening and modernisation
- Lead structured discovery to establish the current state of CCTV platforms, infrastructure, operating systems and risks
- Own and prioritise the delivery backlog based on security exposure, compliance impact and operational risk
- Translate security policies, regulatory obligations and operational needs into clear delivery objectives
- Set success metrics covering vulnerability reduction, compliance posture, service stability and audit readiness
- Make prioritisation decisions balancing immediate risk mitigation with long term platform strategy
- Coordinate stakeholders across cyber security, physical security, CSOC, legal, compliance and store operations
- Support investment planning and funding requests for future CCTV platform replacement or enhancement
- Ensure all decisions, risks and outcomes are clearly documented and auditable
Key Skills:
- Strong experience as a Product Owner or Senior Product Manager in infrastructure, security or platform domains
- Experience operating in regulated or security sensitive environments
- Ability to work with incomplete data and evolving risk profiles
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical groups
- Comfortable owning outcomes rather than feature delivery

This is a 12 month contract that sits outside IR35. You will be expected onsite at either London Paddington or Stockley Park (or a combination) 3 days a week.
