Summary: A leading global law firm is seeking an experienced PMO Manager to oversee a portfolio of strategic initiatives within its Change function. The role focuses on ensuring governance, consistency, and effective delivery across the business. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PMO management, particularly within a law firm context, and will support senior stakeholders in managing risks and financial tracking. This position offers a hybrid working model with opportunities to enhance PMO capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and embed PMO standards, frameworks, and best practice
  • Provide portfolio-level governance, reporting, and oversight
  • Support project and programme leads with controls, documentation, and assurance
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and financial tracking across the change portfolio
  • Prepare updates and materials for senior stakeholders and steering committees

Key Skills:

  • 7+ years’ experience in a PMO or portfolio management role
  • Law firm experience is a MUST
  • Strong understanding of project and change management methodologies
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders in a complex environment
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and delivery-oriented

The Role

  • Provide portfolio-level governance, reporting, and oversight

Essential Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience in a PMO or portfolio management role
  • Law firm experience is a MUST – applications without prior law firm experience will not be considered
  • Strong understanding of project and change management methodologies
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders in a complex environment
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and delivery-oriented
