Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and administer IBM DB2 Warehouse in an AWS environment
  • Support migration, perform database provisioning, patching, upgrades, and configuration management
  • Monitor database health, availability, capacity, and performance
  • Tune SQL queries, indexing, and workload performance
  • Implement and manage backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery
  • Support data migration activities and validate data integrity
  • Collaborate closely with ETL teams, including IBM DataStage and Cognos
  • Ensure database security, access controls, auditing, and compliance
  • Support large-scale batch processing and reporting workloads

Client is seeking an experienced IBM DB2 Warehouse Administrator to support the implementation, migration, and ongoing operations of an enterprise Data Warehouse platform. This role will be responsible for migrating the Data Warehouse, along with ongoing administration and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on DB2 Warehouse DBA experience, exposure to AWS cloud environments, and experience supporting healthcare or Medicaid data systems in a regulated environment.
