Summary: The SAP ISU ABAP Technical Consultant role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom ABAP solutions specifically for SAP ISU. The consultant will also be responsible for troubleshooting complex functional and technical issues while collaborating with functional consultants to refine requirements. Expertise in SAP ISU processes and performance optimization of ISU programs is essential. This position is remote and focuses on contractual project work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP solutions (Reports, Enhancements, User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs, Function Modules, Interfaces, IDocs, OData, CDS Views)
- Experience with ABAP on HANA
- Build and optimize performance critical IS U programs and enhancements
- Develop and maintain integrations between SAP IS U and external systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex IS U functional/technical issues
- Work closely with functional consultants to refine requirements and propose technical designs
- Provide production support, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement recommendations
- Prepare technical specifications, documentation, and test plans
Key Skills:
- Thorough understanding of SAP IS U processes including Billing & Invoicing, FICA, Device Management, Service Orders, Customer Service, and Business Partner Master Data
