As part of a long-term partnership with a leading consultancy, we are seeking several Senior Software Engineers, specialising in either Java or Ruby for a critical public sector organisation.
Ideally you’ll be:
- An experienced, Senior Software Engineer specialising in either Java or Ruby
- Experienced with public sector work – highly scalable, regulated and testable infrastructure
- A great communicator, comfortable taking leading on projects, features and collaborating across teams – they are very open to vocal, unique approaches to solving problems
- SC Cleared or eligible to obtain Security Clearance in the UK
- Able to start immediately and open to prospect of long-term (12m+) work
Consultants are typically employed on an initial 3 month basis but are regularly extended as these longer term projects evolve with fresh avenues, challenges and highly testable features to be delivered at scale.
This is not just a simple 'write and deliver the code' arrangement; they actively encourage technical leadership, vocal and unique problem solving and cross-team collaboration to build things the right way for the user, not just the cheapest or fastest way.
