Summary: The role of Scrum Master involves leading Agile delivery for a prominent consumer technology brand, focusing on supporting development and operations teams across the UK and Europe. The position emphasizes driving delivery effectiveness, embedding Agile practices, and facilitating communication between technical teams and business stakeholders. The Scrum Master will also coach teams, manage project delivery, and analyze performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement. This is a hybrid role requiring some in-office presence initially, with a contract duration of 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a servant leader to one or more Scrum and/or Kanban teams within a scaled Agile environment.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives), ensuring best-practice execution and continuous improvement.
- Coach and mentor teams and stakeholders to deepen Agile understanding and drive team maturity.
- Support Product Owners with backlog management, prioritisation, and clarity of product and sprint goals.
- Identify delivery bottlenecks, risks, and inefficiencies, and work with teams to implement effective solutions.
- Produce and analyse delivery metrics to track progress, team performance, and value delivery.
- Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery, working closely with business stakeholders to meet timelines and objectives.
- Build strong relationships across UK, European, and global teams, including development, marketing, and external partners.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead within software or digital product environments.
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum and Kanban frameworks, and scaled Agile delivery.
- Confident facilitator and coach, able to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience working with cross-functional, distributed, and co-sourced teams.
- Comfortable managing delivery metrics, change initiatives, and competing stakeholder priorities.
- Hands-on experience with Agile tooling such as Jira and Confluence.
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Desirable: Scrum Master certification (PSM, CSM, or equivalent).
- Background in digital, technology, or marketing-led environments.
- Project management experience alongside Agile delivery.

This role is hybrid, with 2 days required in the office for the first 2-3 months. After this, days in office will be as and when required.
