Summary: We are seeking a Security Architect with active security clearance for a 9-month contract role. Inside IR35: £600 - £650 p/d
Hybrid - 1x a month in London

Working within a collaborative and multidisciplinary team, you'll provide practical security guidance, contribute to the design of secure systems, and help ensure that risks are appropriately identified, communicated, and mitigated.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to deepen their skill set within a high-profile, public sector programme.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing secure system architectures that balance business objectives with risk
- Advising delivery teams on security best practice throughout the development life cycle
- Supporting the development of reusable security architecture patterns
- Reviewing technical solutions and offering constructive security input
- Communicating risk and security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- Experience applying structured analysis to solve real-world security challenges
- Understanding of key security concepts, technologies, and architecture principles
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and confidently to varied audiences
- Knowledge of risk methodologies and how to apply them proportionately
- Comfortable working collaboratively across delivery teams and stakeholders
- Familiarity with designing or reviewing solutions for cloud, Legacy, or hybrid environments
Nice to have
- Understanding of Home Office or central government security processes
- Knowledge of secure cloud platforms, landing zones, guardrails or core cloud services
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, container security or automated security controls
