Summary: We are looking for a SEND Project Management Officer to facilitate SEND improvement and transformation initiatives within a local authority. This role involves coordinating and monitoring key SEND projects to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and progress against milestones. The position requires strong organizational skills and experience in project management within SEND or local authority services. The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office in Nottinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of SEND improvement projects
  • Maintain project plans, action trackers, risks, and issues logs
  • Monitor progress against milestones and support performance reporting
  • Prepare reports and updates for senior leaders and governance boards
  • Coordinate activity across SEND, education, health, and social care partners
  • Support assurance, documentation, and audit requirements
  • Ensure projects align with SEND statutory duties and improvement plans

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in a PMO or project support role, ideally within SEND or local authority services
  • Strong organisational, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-workstream programmes
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced, high-profile improvement environment

SEND Project Management Officer (PMO)

Location: Nottinghamshire (Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in the office)
Rate: £280 per day
Contract: Interim / Contract

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SEND Project Management Officer to support SEND improvement and transformation activity within a local authority setting. The role will support the delivery, coordination, and monitoring of key SEND programmes and projects, ensuring progress against agreed milestones and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of SEND improvement projects
