Summary: This role is for a Senior Business Analyst within the Technology, Strategy & Architecture (TSA) team, requiring active security clearance. The position involves supporting technology change initiatives by collaborating with business and technical teams to understand needs, define requirements, and deliver solutions. The role emphasizes flexible working arrangements and a mix of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyse, and manage business and system requirements
  • Create clear documentation such as process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Run workshops and meetings to agree requirements and solutions
  • Work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support projects using Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methods
  • Assess impacts, risks, and dependencies of proposed changes
  • Ensure requirements are agreed, prioritised, and traceable

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on complex projects
  • Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
  • Experience in financial services, ideally payments-related projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Experience creating business processes and operating models (BPMN 2.0)
  • Ability to mentor or coach others on Agile ways of working

Ways of Working (Flexible Options)

Flexible working hours to support personal commitments

50% office attendance, spread across the month

Option for compressed hours (subject to approval)
