Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver change impacting General Insurance Finance, ensuring finance requirements are designed, built, tested, and embedded into operational processes.
  • Work closely with Finance, IT, Change, and BAU teams to shape and oversee requirements.
  • Lead the finance workstream and support senior stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage emerging risks, resolve issues proactively, and provide leadership to a team of Change Managers.
  • Act as deputy for the Business Change Lead when required.
  • Regular travel to Norwich for those based out of York or Bristol.

Key Skills:

  • Good understanding of operational finance processes and experience in a finance function.
  • Ability to understand end-to-end accounting and system flows of financial data.
  • Understanding of accounting and financial controls.
  • Experience in change delivery.

Senior Finance Change Manager 12-month Fixed term Contract Location: Norwich, York or Bristol based (50% hybrid working) Salary: circa £70,000 Are you a senior finance professional who thrives in a dynamic fast-paced environment? Do you have strong stakeholder management skill, the ability to drive forward and deliver multiply complex projects into Finance as well as strong knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and problem-solving skills? As we embark on a period of innovation and transformation in Aviva, we are looking for someone to join our General Insurance Finance Change team to manage a group of change managers and multiple projects to deliver the new systems & processes into our Financial Control Environment for Aviva General Insurance.

A bit about the job: This role is responsible for delivering change impacting General Insurance Finance, ensuring that finance requirements are properly designed, built, tested and embedded into operational processes spanning UK General Insurance, Ireland General Insurance and UK Health. You’ll work closely with Finance, IT, Change and BAU teams to shape and oversee requirements, lead the finance workstream, and support senior stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. A key part of the role is managing emerging risks, resolving issues proactively, and providing leadership to a team of Change Managers while acting as deputy for the Business Change Lead when required. Please note that due to the nature of this role, regular travel is expected to Norwich in case of being based out of York or Bristol.
