Key Responsibilities:

Are you ready to take the next step in your SEO career? We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our Digital Content Team within the Marketing, Recruitment and Communications department. We’re looking for an SEO Assistant who’s enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about digital, search, organic, content and optimisation. In this two-year fixed-term role, you’ll play a key part in our search engine optimisation activities, working with colleagues to review the impact of new technology (e.g. AI) on SEO, ensuring our content meets SEO best practice, focusing on analysing and optimising content related to student recruitment, research outputs and business services.

What we’re looking for:

  • Evidence of optimising digital content for SEO
  • Evidence of conducting keyword research
  • Evidence of using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and other analytics and performance tools to monitor and maintain website SEO performance and site health
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A team player with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to work with stakeholders across the University
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to keep to briefs and deadlines
  • Knowledge of technical SEO beneficial, but will be supported by our technical team
