Main purpose of the role: Simmons Adaptive are keen to hear from real estate finance lawyers to support our client, a leading provider of real estate finance. This is a full-time assignment due to commence in January, with an expected duration of 3-6 months. In this role, you will assist with the execution of loans ranging from £/€30-100 million, primarily focusing on residential and logistics sectors with mid-market sponsors. You will work closely with the client and their stakeholders to facilitate the loan execution process, as well as provide support throughout the credit assessment and approval process. The role is dedicated to loan execution and credit processes, with no requirement for investor reporting, investor relations, or broader fund management activities, as all capital is provided by the client.
Person specification: You are a qualified lawyer with proven experience in real estate finance, gained within a leading private practice or an in-house legal team. You have experience with loan execution and credit processes. You are a problem solver and offer a collaborative approach. You are able to work in a dynamic and fast moving environment. You are able to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines. You have excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads. You can work autonomously but can also collaborate as part of the wider team. You will be required to hold he relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
