Description: We are seeking an experienced and commercially savvy Service Contract Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of Spare Parts and Overhaul services for a dedicated portfolio of customers and our SGT (Siemens Gas Turbine) fleet. In this role, you will be the primary custodian of your allocated contracts, managing everything from commercial execution to complex logistics. You will ensure that chargeable spares, Long-Term Programs (LTP), main engine components, retrofit orders, and both factory and site overhauls are executed flawlessly, safely, and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Service & Parts Delivery: Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for Spare Parts (including Chargeable parts, LTP, Spares with Main Engines, and Retrofit orders) as well as Factory Overhauls (major/minor item repairs) and Site Overhauls.
- Contract Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all contractual, commercial, and operational issues relating to the service lines on your allocated customer accounts.
- Fleet Support: Monitor and support the performance requirements of the assigned SGT gas turbine fleet, aligning parts availability with planned and unplanned maintenance schedules.
- Commercial Performance: Drive profitability, manage contract variations, review commercial terms, and ensure accurate invoicing and cost control across all service lines.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Interface closely with supply chain, technical engineering teams, workshops, and field service personnel to ensure customer requirements are met on time and within budget.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), or an equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering, technical, or business discipline.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience within the turbomachinery or rotating equipment industry— gas turbine experience (specifically SGT fleets) is highly preferred.
- Functional Background: A strong technical or commercial background with clear evidence of your ability to manage complex service contracts.
- Systems & Processes: Solid proficiency in SAP (specifically sales/distribution or project systems modules) and a deep understanding of standard spares and overhauls departmental processes.
