Technical Buyer Location: Telford | 3-Month Fixed Term Contract (Extension Possible) | Salary DOE Immediate impact role. Commercial focus. Fast-paced environment. We’re looking for a Technical Buyer who can hit the ground running in a busy engineering and manufacturing business based in Telford. This is a 3-month fixed term contract, created to add immediate purchasing capacity, with the potential to extend for the right Technical Buyer. If you’re commercially sharp, confident negotiating with suppliers, and comfortable working from engineering drawings to source the right suppliers, this Technical Buyer role offers real scope to add value quickly. The Role – Technical Buyer As Technical Buyer, you’ll be responsible for purchasing and expediting parts and services to support live engineering projects and production schedules. Working closely with Engineering and Project Management teams, you’ll ensure spend is controlled, suppliers are challenged, and materials arrive on time. This Technical Buyer position will suit someone proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
