Summary: We are seeking a Transport Forwarder to join the Frontier team at our Cranswick location for a full-time, fixed-term position lasting 12 months. The role involves managing the collection and delivery of bulk raw materials, working closely with various departments to ensure timely contract management and excellent service. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days on-site and 2 days from home. Good written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent telephone manner. Experience of meeting multiple deadlines in a very time sensitive environment. Experience of a fast-moving transport environment is beneficial but not essential. Self-motivated and tenacious. Must hold a UK driving licence. Strong health and safety focus.
Your Role Will Involve
As a Transport Forwarder your role will involve: Organising collection and delivery of grain and other commodities to our customers within the supply chain. Working closely with the company’s national bulk fleet team to optimise logistical efficiencies. Providing support cover when required within the existing forwarding and logistics teams. Booking haulage and discussing haulage rates with third party hauliers. Communicating with farmers around contract execution, collection, and delivery. Working closely with all departments to make sure our customers receive a professional experience from start to finish.
