Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and engineer enterprise VMware platforms using VMware Cloud Foundation, spanning compute, storage, networking, and security.
- Lead the evaluation, validation, benchmarking, and integration of VCF into existing and new infrastructure estates.
- Develop detailed architecture, integration, and migration plans, including risk assessments and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, operations, and vendor teams to deliver highly available, secure, and compliant platforms.
- Implement automation and Infrastructure as Code principles using tools such as Ansible and Python.
- Drive platform reliability through performance optimisation, hardening, and security compliance.
Key Skills:
- Strong background designing and delivering large-scale VMware virtualisation environments, with hands-on VMware Cloud Foundation experience.
- Deep expertise in VMware ESXi, vSphere, vSAN, and associated technologies, including design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience contributing to or supporting a VMware Cloud Foundation rollout or transformation programme.

You’ll work closely with internal engineering teams, vendors, and specialist partners to design, integrate, and deploy VCF across large-scale on-premises environments , both greenfield and brownfield.
