As a contract Azure, you are hired to design, build, migrate, and manage cloud infrastructure and services on Microsoft's Azure platform. Contract engagements cover a broad spectrum of activity including cloud architecture design, infrastructure-as-code implementation using Terraform or Bicep, application and data platform migrations, Azure DevOps pipeline configuration, security and compliance work, and ongoing platform management and optimisation. Azure contractors are expected to have deep practical knowledge of the core Azure service portfolio.
