The Social Media Manager contractor role centres on the ability to plan, create, publish, and measure social media content and campaigns across the major social platforms, building and maintaining an organisation's presence and engagement with its audiences on channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. Contract engagements arise when an organisation needs dedicated social media management during a vacancy, when a specific campaign or brand relaunch requires focused social media resource, or when an organisation is building its social media capability for the first time and needs experienced guidance alongside execution.
